Wednesday, October 20th | Full “Blood” Moon In Aries

And just like that, Fall’s first Full Moon greets us in full force in the first sign of the zodiac, Aries. Full moons are about bringing things to a head, and with Mother Moon’s bright light, she’ll be illuminating that which has been brewing under the surface. As the moon opposes the Sun in Libra, we’re being asked to find a balance between fulfilling our personal needs (Aries, is all about the self) and the needs of others (Libra). With some strong aspects to planets such as Pluto and Mars we’re being beckoned to action, and change. Have you been feeling that fire build inside? That calling to express yourself in deeper alignment to your values? 

With this lunation, Boundless Belize serves as a wonderful ally to support you in your expression. This is a powerful day to sit in ritual, and as you sip your cacao, allow it to guide you in finding your voice, your own personal declaration. Some practices that may be helpful on this day: 

• Sound Toning: The practice of making vowel sounds for harmonization, this term was developed by Jonathan Goldman though the practice has been used in many ancient traditions. 
• Writing: Put on some meditative music of your choice, as you let cacao take you on a journey of self-awareness, begin to write your own personal declaration. What wishes to be expressed through you?

Friday, October 22nd PT/23rd ET | Sun Enters Scorpio

This day marks the beginning of a new season, we’re moving from the airy, socially-focused sign of Libra, to the watery hermetic depths of Scorpio. Scorpio is a master of the emotional and hidden realms and is known to be a sign that does well in the exploration of self and the subconscious. As we enter this season, begin to notice how you can shift into a more intuitive-oriented way of being over the next month. You may wish to make space to honor this shift by sitting in ritual with cacao and beginning your journey into your personal depths. 

Take yourself on an inner journey this season with a cup of Tantric Rose Blossom. This cacao is great for emotional support and intimacy with self. Scorpio rules the sexual organs, our sacral chakra, a place in which we store many memories. Invite the sensual potency of Tantric Rose Blossom Cacao to take you on a journey into yourself as you slowly sip, do some activating breath work, and lay to receive messages from your subconscious. Be sure to journal what comes up.

Sunday, October 31st | Halloween/Samhain  

This date, now commonly known as Halloween, has its roots in the Pagan holiday of Samhain (pronounced Sah-win) - the time of year in which it’s believed that the veil is thinnest between the physical and unseen worlds. Though many of us are used to parties, going out, and socializing for this holiday, it's actually an invitation to be in ritual, self-reflection, and in communion with our ancestors and allies on the other side. 

A Ritual for Connecting to the Ancestors:

Begin by creating an altar for your ancestors, see this as a place to make offerings. You can bring elements such as a small plate of fruit, some water, flowers, and cacao. Our ancestors love sweetness and acknowledgment. Once your altar is set up, prepare a nourishing cup of Medicinal Mushroom Cacao. This cacao will be conducive to creating pathways to hearing the wisdom that our ancestors may have to offer as mushrooms are one of the most ancient living organisms on this Earth and hold the memories of all time. Sit in front of your altar, say a prayer from your heart to your ancestors and enjoy your cacao.

Reflect on the following questions: 

• What wisdom from my ancestors can I bring into my present-day awareness? 
• What guidance might I be able to receive in order to bring a project into fullness, or to begin something new from the wisdom of those who came before? 
• When I intuitively tune into my mother’s/father’s lineage, what do I imagine may be some of their gifts and challenges?
• What am I most grateful for in regards to my ancestors?

Bonus: You may wish to do this brief meditation before journaling from one of our virtual cacao ceremonies in which Cynthia guides you into a deep connection with your ancestors. Meditation begins at 17:20
