Cacao Ritual - Inspiration & Suggestions
Sun. July 18th | World Listening Day
This day honors Canadian composer R. Murray Schafer, one of the founders of the Acoustic Ecology movement. The theme for 2021 is “The Unquiet Earth”, which is an invitation to engage with the sounds of Earth beyond the human threshold, which can bring new relationships to our mysterious world. Per their website, “Listening as activism encourages us to question our attitudes as listeners as we aim to construct a more inclusive and empathetic new world.”
This is your opportunity to immerse yourself in nature with a cup of Connected Colombia. Listen not only with your ears, but with your body, your heart, your soul. What unspoken words is nature whispering to you? More than just your ears, what does your full body hear?
Try meditating or journaling on what comes into your awareness. Nature is always speaking!
Tues. July 20th | National Moon Day
This day commemorates when Apollo 11 carried the first humans to walk on the Moon. This was once thought an impossible feat, or not thought of at all. For those reasons, nowadays big dreams are affectionately called “moonshots”.
It’s time to create your moonshot list. Write down every dream that you thought was impossible for you: personal and professional. Write down every dream that you thought was impossible for humanity. Once you have your list, prepare a cup of Boundless Belize, an excellent cacao for stretching your imagination.
Invite clarity into your ritual by responding aloud to these prompts, “If this was easy, I would…” “If my efforts would be rewarded, I would…"
Fri. July 23rd | Full “Buck Moon”
The Full Moon in July is called the Buck Moon because the antlers of bucks (male deer) are in full-growth mode at this time. Also around this time, bucks shed and regrow their antlers, producing a larger and more impressive set as the years go by.
As we approach the height of summer, try communing with a cup of Glowing Guatemala for insight and inner work. What is fully radiant in your life? What is worth regrowing next year?

The first World Friendship Day was proposed for in 1958 by the World Friendship Crusade, an international civil organization that campaigns to foster a culture of peace through friendship.
