Summer Rose Cacao Smoothie Recipe
As we approach the turn of the seasons it can be a great time to try out new cacao recipes! The Aztecs were known for preparing their cacao cold and we are inspired by them to share a cold cacao recipe that is sure to balance the rising summer heat.
- 20-30 discs of our pure ceremonial cacao
- 1 cup frozen strawberries (or berry of your choice)
- 1 tbsp of almond or peanut butter
- 1 cup of water or your favorite non-dairy milk
- 2 tsps of rose powder
- *Optional: spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg
Simply put in a blender, mix until smooth. Option to garnish with your favorite edible flowers, and enjoy!
