A new moon in Gemini presents us with the energy of communication, ideas, and connection.
Gemini is a sign that teaches us how to be at ease with ourselves and others, how to be comfortable in curiosity rather than seeking a factual answer, and open mindedness.
Spend this day exploring these themes and activate the energy of this Gemini New Moon with a cup of Thriving Tanzania Cacao to bring about the joyful and airy aspects of this moon.
You may wish to infuse your new moon cacao practice with a listening meditation to expand your awareness of the sounds within and without. Find some relaxing meditative music, after sipping on your cacao, sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes, and just spend some time listening to all the sounds in the music and all that surrounds you. Observe what arises, your sensations, and then journal any insights that may have come through.

Those of us in the Northern Hemisphere will be experiencing the longest day of the year! The summer solstice, in mythical terms, comes to represent the triumph of light over darkness. It is the day in which the cycles of time are inviting us to begin our expansion and take action on all the dreams that were gestating within us during the prior cycle of time. On this day, many gather at sacred sites to pray for the Earth and celebrate the gift of life.
