June 7th | National Trails Day
Today we honor the beauty, gifts, preservation, and joy of our nature trails. We highly recommend making your cacao to-go and venturing out to your favorite hiking trail. Offer up your first sip to the trailhead in gratitude for all you receive from these precious paths. Having cacao while immersed in nature can be a truly connective, perspective opening experience. See if you can disconnect from your devices and notice how cacao opens your lens of perception to connect with nature around you.

Recommended Cacao: Mystical Mushroom connects us to the underground mycelial networks that bridges the worlds’ forests and is a perfect complement to honoring the nature around and beneath us.

June 11th | Full Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius
With the full moon we reflect on what has come to fullness and fruition in our lives, for celebration or release. With the moon in Sagittarius, we are connecting to themes of higher wisdom and learning, travel, expansion and joy, and optimisim. Allow these themes to inform your full moon reflections as you consider what is coming to completion at this cycle.

June 15th | Father’s Day
On this day we honor the fathers and father-like figures in our lives. Archetypcally, the father represents stability, security, order, protection, and practicality. This is a great day to share a cup of cacao with the father folks in your life and/or meditate on your connection to this archetype.

Recommended Cacao: Thriving Tanzania imparts energizing focus and clarity that resonates with the masculine archetype of the father.

June 19th | Juneteenth
This holiday is also known as Emancipation Day and commemorates the abolition of slavery in the United States. On this day, you’re invited to celebrate the freedoms you enjoy, reflect on the ways racial injustice persists and get curious about ways to support equality. During your cacao ritual, you’re invited to make a prayer for the freedom of all beings across the world.

June 20th | Summer Solstice
We welcome the start of  summer in the Northern Hemisphere - the longest day of sunlight and shortest night of the year. The Summer Solstice connects us with the element of fire. You’re invited to find your gratitude for the life-giving force of the sun by watching the sunrise and/or sunset with a cup of cacao. This is a great day to enjoy an outdoor gathering and set your intentions  for the summer ahead.

Recommended Cacao: Celebrate the longest day of the year with an iced Oaxacan Spice Cacao, bringing in the heat and heart of celebration with warming spices of cinnamon, cardamom, cayenne, turmeric, ginger.

June 21st | International Yoga Day
Many in this community are yoga practitioners and teachers and we’re so grateful for all of the yoga studios that sell our cacao! Yoga refers to the physical, mental, and spiritual practices and philosophy that emerged in India in the early first millennium BCE. While many different branches of yoga have developed, the root of the word yoga literally means to yoke, to link, or union. This refers to union of the mind, body, and breath, union of the masculine and feminine energies within, and union of the individual consciousness with the divine. If you haven’t already discovered, cacao and yoga make an excellent pairing! On this day, try a yoga sequence following your cacao ritual and see how it supports your ability to drop into your body and quiet your mind.

June 25th | New Moon in Cancer
With each new moon, we ‘re invited to set intentions and plant seeds for what we want to nurture in the coming lunar cycle. When the moon is in Cancer, we are connecting to the archetype of the crab, the mother, home, emotions, and intuition. Reflecting on these themes can inform and amplify the intentions you set!

Recommended Cacao: Tune into the energy of the mother with Tantric Rose Blossom infused with heart opening rose, body softening damiana, and enlivening citrus peel.

June 26th | National Chocolate Pudding Day
Today’s a great day to try a simple cacao pudding recipe! After preparing your cacao following regular methods, simply refrigerate overnight and enjoy a cacao pudding the next day!
