For some people, Mondays feel challenging. But for others, Mondays represent an opportunity to make progress on goals, dreams, and projects.
It’s all about the attitude we choose to live by.
But how can you shift from the collective mentality that Mondays are something to dread to having excitement for a new week ahead?
One of the ways to do this is to establish rituals or routines that nourish inspiration within you. It can be something you do once a week or each morning upon rising to set the tone for your day!
Today, we’ll take a look at some repeating rituals that you can infuse into your life and how you can complement those with a cup of ceremonial cacao that brings you into total heart presence.
To create new habits and rituals, new ways of thinking and being may need to occur. This stimulates the neural pathways in our brain! For this reason, we recommend our Mystical Mushroom Enhanced Cacao to help you in changing your perspective, whether it’s about Mondays, or anything else! Mushrooms have the power to strengthen our cognition, and memory, boost our energy levels, as well as regulate our nervous system, all important things for a healthy and positive mindset.
Feel Clear, Inspired, & Grateful
Set Intentions:
At the start of the week, carve out some time in the morning or in the afternoon for an intention-setting session. Ask yourself: “based on my current life vision, what positive steps can I take this week to help me move forward?” Infuse this practice with a meditation dose of cacao to set your intentions from a grounded and self-aware state. Stick to just three steps so as not to overwhelm yourself!
If you don’t know what your current life vision is yet, that’s okay. You can start by focusing on that first, with a longer intention-setting session to get clear on your big picture. Even just knowing the next steps to get clear on your vision can help, because it’s hard to get excited if we don’t know where we’re going. 😊
Develop a morning routine that sparks inspiration:
You just aren’t always going to feel inspired, no matter what. That’s because it’s not a part of our human nature, and it’s not a part of nature itself.
Ebbs and flows with inspiration are to be expected.
What we can do, though, is find avenues of inspiration whenever there are lulls! Create a morning routine that you feel excited to wake up for during the week. This can be as simple as a five-minute practice to something a bit longer, like an hour.
Need an idea? We love to wake up in the morning, make a cup of ceremonial cacao, and read an inspiring book or quotes that will fire up ideas and beautiful thoughts. This is one of the reasons we write our monthly Cacao Invocations, to share inspiration for your mornings! Have you tried infusing it into your cacao ritual for inspiration yet? If not, give it a try here.
Cultivate a Gratitude Practice:
A wise Mayan elder says “the highest state of being is to be in gratitude.” Take a moment and think back on the last time you felt yourself completely immersed in gratitude. Do you remember how powerful yet humbled you felt in that moment?
Can you imagine what beautiful things you can create or live by living in that state? How would your relationships and your ways of relating shift?
For this practice, at the start of the week, write down at least three things you’re grateful for and why. Write down how they impact your life. Take time to reflect on them. They can be little things or they can be big things; notice how your attitude towards the start of the week begins to shift and allow that to permeate each day. 🤎 Repeat at the start of each week to cultivate your gratitude.
