Welcome to July’s Ritual Report! Can you believe that  we are already halfway through the year? How will you spend the rest of 2022?

In our Monthly Ritual Report we tune into the astrological energies of the month, and at times, internationally and nationally celebrated days. Through these understandings we can spark inspiration and create cacao rituals that help us align with the natural cycles of the Earth.

In addition, we recommend specific cacaos to support your intentions on these special days.

Each day is an opportunity to go deeper with your ritual by dedicating more time, planning a more involved ritual, perhaps increasing your cacao dose, or planning ahead for a group ritual with friends, loved ones, and the larger community.

How will you make your rituals authentic to you this month?

Let us know, we’d love to hear from you!

World Chocolate Day | July 7th

For this ritual, we’re doing a throwback and would like to share the ritual and reflection that we shared on for this day back in 2021!

World Chocolate Day is a global celebration of chocolate, an invitation for chocolate lovers to indulge in their favorite treat without any guilt. To really enjoy chocolate guilt-free demands several key understandings.

First, an awareness of how chocolate candy came to be: colonization, suppression, and oppression of indigenous culture, extraction and degradation of natural resources (and humans), and many more harmful things. However, ceremonial cacao (not chocolate candy) reconnects us with cacao as a sacred plant, as it was before colonizers brought it to the world.

Second, guilt-free enjoyment demands an appreciation for cacao as a healing plant in its purest and whole-food form, which carries enormous benefits for the human mind and body.

Prepare a cup heart-opening cup of Tantric Rose Blossom today or whichever your favorite Ora Cacao is,  and offer your gratitude to the indigenous cultures that discovered and cultivated cacao long ago. If you could share a cup of ceremonial cacao with them today, what would you say, ask, or offer?

National Simplicity Day | July 10th

Let’s get back to the basics.

This day honors the life and work of Henry David Thoreau a naturalist, transcendentalist, poet, and author. An advocate of living simply and consciously, Thoreau was one of the first people involved in the transcendentalist movement which is predicated on the belief that all humans are inherently good, and the way to knowledge is through looking inward.

Thoreau once said, “In short, I am convinced, both by faith and experience, that to maintain one’s self on this earth is not a hardship but a pastime, if we will live simply and wisely.

Enjoy a pure cup of Boundless Belize and reflect: how can you thrive by simplifying your life? What can you remove from your life that would get you closer to yourself and to the planet?

Make a list, and start implementing the necessary changes.

Reflect on this: “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”

Full Moon in Capricorn | July 13th

Are there things you’re aware of that need to come to an end? This Full Moon invites us to look at what isn’t working, especially in regards to our dreams, head on. This can be challenging, but the work is rewarding. When we release and wholeheartedly commit to a new way of living, space is opened up and new possibilities are available. Expand your heart to the possibility of letting go with a cup of Glowing Guatemala and reflect on what no longer fits in your life and in your thoughts. Perhaps ask cacao to show you the way and simply breathe as you sip on your cup.
