Welcome to June’s Ritual Report. After a heavy month in May, we will be receiving lots of new energy! This gives way to some excitement and optimism.

In our Monthly Ritual Report we tune into the astrological energies of the month, and at times, internationally and nationally celebrated days. Through these understandings, we can spark inspiration and create cacao rituals that help us align with the natural cycles of the Earth.

In addition, we recommend specific cacaos to support your intentions on these special days.

Each day is an opportunity to go deeper with your ritual by dedicating more time, planning a more involved ritual, perhaps increasing your cacao dose, or planning ahead for a group ritual with friends, loved ones, and the larger community.

How will you make your rituals authentic to you this month?

Let us know, we’d love to hear from you!

Sunday, June 5th - World Environment Day

As humans, we have been given the responsibility and honor to take care of our one and only home, Mother Earth. Many of us are aware by now that collectively we’ve done quite a poor job of this and need to turn things around right now. So if we know that we (the micro) reflect what is in the macro and vice versa, then we can begin moving from a place in which we know that by changing our immediate surroundings and our inner world, we can also be a part of the greater change these times are calling for.

World Environment Day is celebrated in order to bring awareness to the necessary action we need to take. On this day, we recommend sitting with a cup of Mystical Mushroom Cacao to bring about a deeper connection to the Earth. Fungi are at the base of all living things on this planet, without them none of us would be here, so by inviting this cacao into your day, you can begin to strengthen that connection to life, and perhaps even receive inspiration on how to be a better steward of the Earth.

A fun activity you could do as you sip on your cacao is to draw a garden of hope. Within this garden, ask yourself, what are the practices that would enrich your life while being kind to the Earth?

We also recommend taking a look at the official World Environment Day Website where they have a free practical guide for becoming a better friend to the environment.

Tuesday, June 14th - Full Moon In Sagittarius

This super full moon will be ripe with the opportunity to dream big, and get out of your comfort zone. Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter, is a fire sign that ignites passions and helps us discover our beliefs.

Take this day to prepare yourself a cup of Glowing Guatemala and set the intention to envision your future from the heart. Since Sagittarius deals a lot with the self, rather than community, you can take some time to reflect on the following:

  • Who were you before you were given a name?
  • Who are you when stripped of everything anyone else has ever said?
  • Are you the person you wish to be? Are you living the way you wish to live?
  • When I allow myself to dream, how do I envision the expansion of my life?

Tuesday, June 21st - Summer Solstice/World Peace & Prayer Day

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, we will be experiencing the longest day of the year! The summer solstice, in mythical terms, comes to represent the triumph of light over darkness. It is the day in which the cycles of time are inviting us to begin our expansion and take action on all the dreams that were gestating within us during the prior cycle of time. On this day, many gather at sacred sites to pray for the Earth and celebrate the gift of life.

This would be a great day for a gathering with friends in which you can share Tantric Rose Blossom as it can connect you to the energy of creativity and sensuality. Share delicious cacao, prayers for the earth and humanity, and enjoy community.

"To claim the new and larger boundary of our personal fire, we join it in ritual to that of others, and together, dance it outward. We make sacred ceremonies not only for and with our immediate community, but for all our relations. The Lakota phrase mitákuye Oyásin reminds us, "I am related to all things, and all things are related to me."
