September | National Honey Month

Honey Month is a celebratory event to promote American beekeeping, the beekeeping industry, and honey as a natural and beneficial sweetener.

This month, try adding a small dab of honey to a Medicinal Mushroom Enhanced 100% cacao, which will complement its rich flavors. It is one of the healthiest sweeteners you can use in your cacao ritual. We recommend local, unfiltered, raw, organic honey, which is more sustainable for the environment. When enjoyed in reasonable amounts, honey carries tremendous health benefits: antibacterial, antioxidant, vitamins, minerals, quite beneficial to your health. Sunday, September 19th | National Dance Day

National Dance Day celebrates all forms of dance. Today, is an invitation for you to express yourself with your body with the guidance of Mama Cacao.

First, create a physical space in which you can freely move. Then, prepare a playlist of your favorite songs. Next, make a cup of Boundless Belize, and tune into its expansive and expressive energy as you slowly sip it. Let the music wash over you. And imagine dancing beyond the bounds of what you think dancing should be. When you feel inspired, stand up and move freely, happily, and Boundlessly. Combining cacao rituals with dancing can be a form of exercise, somatic therapy and stress relief, or simply a pure ritual of joyful self-expression.

Tuesday, September 21st  | International Peace Day

International Peace Day was established by the United Nations in 1981 (resolution 36/67) with a goal for "a day of non-violence and cease-fire”.

The basis of all wars begins not on the Earth, but in the level of consciousness that we carry throughout our day. Invite a soothing and harmonizing cup of Connected Colombia into your being today. Even if just for this day, reflect on the following: What “battles” with others am I willing to give up today? What criticism and judgment can I leave unexpressed today? If everyone withheld one act of violence each day (whether it be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual) and instead chose to create peace, how would the world change? 

Wednesday, Sept. 22nd | Full Harvest Moon & Autumnal Equinox

Indigenous cultures were stewards of earth-based wisdom. They understood that the Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, and Autumn Equinox were outward Earthly events that illuminated the inward spiritual cycle within each person. 

On this Harvest Moon, take time to acknowledge your growth with a cup of Glowing Guatemala. This cacao is excellent for insight and inner work, and especially potent for Full Moon rituals. May the spirit of your ritual today be that of pure honor and gratitude for who you are.
