What a wonder it is that this month began with a new moon giving us the opportunity to plant seeds for the weeks ahead. We invite you to take some time today to sit with your cacao in contemplation of your favorite parts of the first quarter of the year, and what you would like to continue flourishing in the coming months.

In our Monthly Ritual Report we tune into the astrological energies of the month, and at times, internationally and nationally celebrated days.
Through these understandings, we can spark inspiration and create cacao rituals that help us align with the natural cycles of the Earth. In addition, we recommend specific cacaos to support your intentions on these special days.
Each day is an opportunity to go deeper with your ritual by dedicating more time, planning a more involved ritual, perhaps increasing your cacao dose, or planning ahead for a group ritual with friends, loved ones, and the larger community.

On this day, think back on the seeds you planted during the new moon of April 1st. What projects or dreams were you talking about and focusing on? Since the sun will be in Aries which represents the “self”, and the moon will be in Libra which represents “other” or “community” you may be notice the theme of finding balance between you and being of service.
A ritual of release could be a wonderful way to make use of this moon’s energy. As you take note of what seeds you planted in early April, with a new lens, see what things, habits, ideas you may need to release in order to make more room for those seeds to continue growing in the right direction. Since this Libra full moon will be very much influenced by Venus (hello beauty) Tantric Rose can serve as a way to connect to this softer aspect of the moon as you go deep in your release work.
Tuesday, April 19th | Sun enters Taurus: Yay, Taurus season begins!
After a fiery airy season, rest, self-care, and a bit of healthy indulgence is the name of the game.
To welcome in Taurus, connect to its Venusian energy with a cup of Boundless Belize to get your creativity flowing on how you can create more beauty in your life.
With your cup of cacao in hand, you can do a mindfulness practice of reflecting on what you love about your life, and what you wish to bring more magic into. This can be as simple as committing to a daily walk to allow the beauty of nature to make itself present in your life, to deciding to spruce up your home to make it more conducive to what you’re currently calling in.
And since Taurus loves luxury and beautiful aesthetic, do something on this day to spoil yourself, take a nap, make yourself a lovely bath with essential oils...get creative!

The first Earth Day was observed in 1970 to create awareness around the pollution and environmental issues going on, and little did the visionaries who introduced this day know that we would still be celebrating it 52 years later.
Earth Day is a special time to celebrate our connection to our one and only home and find ways to become better advocates for the health of this planet through collaboration.
There are so many ways we can honor the earth, not just on Earth Day, but every day. Here’s one of our favorite ways to connect to the spirit of the Earth through ritual:
Plan out a day to go spend some quality time with your favorite nature spot. Take Mystical Mushroom Cacao with you in your thermos, and before you go for that hike or settle into your spot, offer some of your cacao drink to the Earth naming all the things you’re grateful for as you pour. Then, sip your cacao and as you spend your time in the outdoors, stay in silence (at least 20 minutes or longer than is comfortable), noticing all the ways in which Mother Earth speaks.
