November 1 | Día de los Muertos
Dia de los Muertos is a celebration of our ancestors, with roots over 3,000 years old from indigenous Mesoamerican cultures. For these cultures, those who have passed are still part of the community, death is integrated as a natural part of life. On this day, families prepare ofrendas or altars/offerings to honor their ancestors, decorated with photos, flowers, sweets, candles, etc.
Ritual Idea: Create a simple altar for your ancestors (this can include your chosen family and teachers/mentors) with photos, flowers, and something sweet to offer - perhaps a cup of cacao. Speak their names aloud and recount stories of their lives. Let gratitude become your bridge between realms.
Recommended Cacao: Uplifting Uganda - bright, floral, and expansive. A beautiful ally for lineage work, opening the heart to ancestral connection and healing.
November 5 | Full Moon in Taurus
This full moon invites us to return to our roots… to ground into comfort, simplicity, and the beauty of enough. Taurus energy reminds us that nourishment is sacred, and rest is revolutionary.
Ritual Idea: Prepare a cozy space, wrap yourself in a blanket, and sip your cacao slowly. Write three ways you can make life feel softer and more supportive in the weeks ahead.
Recommended Cacao: Tantric Rose Blossom - infused with rose and damiana, softening the heart and soothing the nervous system for deep embodiment and serenity.
November 9 | Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius
Mercury’s retrograde asks us to slow down… to speak with care, to listen between the lines, and to find clarity in reflection. In the sign of Sagittarius, this brings an opportunity to reevaluate beliefs, goals, life philosophies, and long-term plans.
Ritual Idea: Begin your day in stillness. As you drink cacao, notice your breath… your body… your thoughts. Ask, “What wisdom am I missing by moving too fast?”
Recommended Cacao: Mystical Mushroom - with reishi, chaga, and lion’s mane, this blend brings grounded clarity and resilience for the mind and nervous system.
November 11 | 11:11 Gateway
This day is said to hold potent manifestation energy - a moment when intuition heightens and alignment feels closer at hand. 11:11 reminds us that our thoughts are seeds, and our presence is the soil that helps them grow.
Ritual Idea: Write down one clear intention that feels alive in your heart. Hold your cup of cacao to your chest… breathe into the heart space… and feel that prayer ripple outward through your whole field.
Recommended Cacao: Tantric Rose Blossom - with rose and damiana, this blend softens the energy body, guiding intention with tenderness and love.
November 21 | Sagittarius Season Begins
As the sun moves into Sagittarius, we lift from Scorpio’s depths into the light of celebration, optimism, and wisdom gained. This is the flame that follows transformation - the reminder that joy, too, is sacred.
Ritual Idea: Share cacao in community. Speak your gratitudes aloud. Reflect on the growth you’ve experienced this year and what new adventures call you forward.
Recommended Cacao: Boundless Belize - expansive and heart-opening, it helps us reconnect with wonder, laughter, and the magic of possibility.
Nov 24 | Ora’s Holiday Event Begins
The season of giving is here - and with it, Ora’s annual celebration of generosity and gratitude. This is a time to share heart medicine with those you love… to give the gift of cacao and presence.
Whether you’re introducing someone to their first cup or restocking your own ritual supply, this event is a beautiful reminder to reconnect with the spirit of gratitude and generosity - some of the key teachings of cacao.
Stay tuned for special gifts and early access - this is our way of saying thank you for being part of this community.
November 27 | Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time of reflection - of gratitude for abundance and remembrance of the deeper histories woven into this land. When held with awareness, gratitude becomes more than celebration; it becomes reverence.
Ritual Idea: Begin your meal or gathering with a pause of gratitude - for the land, for the hands that grew your food, for those who came before. Sip cacao with presence and speak one thing you are truly thankful for.
Recommended Cacao: Vibrant Vitality - warming and energizing, with maca and adaptogens that support balance and renewal. A perfect ally for heart-centered gratitude and connection.
Nov 29 | Native American Heritage Day
Native American Heritage Day is a time to reflect, learn, and honor the Indigenous peoples whose wisdom and stewardship continue to shape this land. It invites awareness of history, recognition of resilience, and gratitude for the traditions that have taught us balance and right relationship with the Earth.
Ritual Idea: Before your cacao ritual, acknowledge the Indigenous lands you’re on (native-land.ca) and offer a moment of gratitude to their original caretakers.
Recommended Cacao: Boundless Belize - earthy and heart-opening, honoring cacao’s ancestral roots in Mesoamerica and supporting reflection and reciprocity.

💫 November Invocation: Gratitude as Medicine 💫
When the days grow short
and the year folds in on itself,
gratitude becomes our hearth.
Not the loud gratitude of lists and obligations,
but the quiet kind…
a warmth that flickers behind the ribs,
steady and humble.
It begins in a single breath:
thank you for this cup,
for this moment,
for the unseen threads that hold me here.
Gratitude softens grief.
It reminds us that even endings are part of life’s generosity.
It steadies the pulse when the world feels rushed,
teaching that presence is its own kind of prayer.
May your cacao be a companion in this remembering.
May it anchor you through the noise and the nostalgia.
May each sip return you home…
to heart, to lineage, to life itself.
